Johnny Cash Poster by Ian Bohorquez

Creative:Interactive, Inc. was founded in 1999 by me (Ian Bohorquez), a 1990 Fine Arts graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. An illustrator, designer, and musician, I began creating web sites in 1994, eventually adding web application, database, and Flash development skills. Since graduating from RISD I’ve created work for a range of clients, from musical legends Johnny Cash and The Grateful Dead, to international entertainment companies, national chain retailers, colleges, universities, banks, law firms, and other organizations both small and large.

My poster art was featured in the Rhode Island Museum of Art’s groundbreaking exhibition “Wunderground: 1995-Present” in 2006, and a folio of those works is now part of the Museum’s permanent collection.

After starting the company, I became the trusted designer and developer for a number of notable clients. I was contracted to design the identity, web site, and all print materials for Chester College of New England (a small, private arts institution), helping to grow their enrollment to record levels. He was also tapped to create a content-rich web site for Meredith Village Savings Bank (a regional bank in central NH), which included a comprehensive web-based application for managing interest rates, and online financial calculators. Other clients from that time include Washington State University, top New Hampshire law firm Sheehan, Phinney, Bass + Green, and numerous software and communications companies.

In 2006, the business was relocated to Rhode Island to be centrally located to clients there and from New Hampshire, Boston, and New York. I currently produce work for Textbooks.com, T.J.Maxx and Marshall’s, as well as clients in financial services, travel, fashion, entertainment, and technology.
